What to Expect During Your Roller Coaster WingWalk Experience
Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure with your first wingwalk experience! Here's what you can expect:
⇩ Check-in ⇩
At booking, you will receive a check-in time or you will need to arrange one with us beforehand if you have an open-ended voucher. On arrival, you will be greeted and checked in by one of our skilled ‘Dare Crew’ staff members, who will check your paperwork and inform you of your briefing time slot.
Refreshments are usually available at each location, and your friends and family are very welcome to use these facilities, whilst they wait for you. Toilets are also available.
⇩ Pre-Flight Briefing ⇩
Before taking to the skies, you will need to attend a short safety briefing where our staff will walk you through all necessary procedures and inform you of important safety information.
All wingwalkers will be given some wingwalking goggles and noise reducing earplugs to use during their flight.
On completion of the safety briefing, you will be given the chance to opt in to our video packages – these options will be explained in detail to you, and there will also be a chance to ask any questions.
⇩ Getting Strapped In ⇩
When your turn comes, you will be securely strapped into the wingwalking rig seat on the top wing of our biplane. Our staff will ensure that all safety harnesses are correctly locked, and that you are comfortable before your departure.
You will be given another chance to ask any last minute questions at this point, and our staff will refresh you on the ‘get me down’ hand signal.
⇩ Your Flight ⇩
Once your flight is completed, your pilot will return you back to the parking area. This area will be in close proximity to your family & friends so there will be a good final opportunity for them to take some photos of you on the aircraft before you disembark.
In some circumstances our staff may be able to help you facilitate a group photograph in front of the aircraft if time, staffing and traffic permit. Although this depends on many factors and we can’t guarantee it can happen, we will try our very best to accommodate your request.
⇩ After Your Flight ⇩
