WingWalking is an exhilarating experience where you are securely strapped to the top wing of a biplane, such as our 450hp Boeing Stearman, while it performs flight maneuvers at speeds up to 135 mph and altitudes between 100 and 700 feet.
Anyone aged 18 or over, with reasonable general fitness, is welcome. There is no upper limit, we’ve had flyers into their 80s. You’ll need to climb safely onto the wing platform, guided by our ground crew.
In the interest of your safety and ours, a prospective WingWalker will not be permitted to fly if they are experiencing or suffer from any of the following:
- Alcohol or drug addiction
- Blackouts
- Disease of the brain or nervous system
- Epilepsy
- Fainting, giddiness or fitting
- Mental illness, depression, anxiety or panic attacks
- Recurrent dislocations or weakness of joints or limbs
- Severe head injuries
- Pregnancy
A prospective participant experiencing any of the following
may be able to fly, but must first seek qualified medical advice:
- Diabetes (all types)
- Heart disease — past or present (including stenting, by‑passes, valve replacement, pacemakers)
- High blood pressure
- Lung disease / reduced lung capacity

We strive to be inclusive and consider accessibility on a case‑by‑case basis. If you cannot exit the rig unaided in an emergency, you may still fly with an extra waiver. Please contact us ahead of time to discuss your needs.

Absolutely. We comply with CAA regulations, use five‑point harnesses, backup pins, and maintain our aircraft to the highest standard. Your safety is our priority.
If weather grounds us, we’ll reschedule your flight at no extra charge. You’ll be informed promptly if conditions look doubtful.
It’s loud—engine roar and wind combine for a thrilling sensory experience. We provide ear protection. The wind is strong, but most say it’s exhilarating, not unpleasant.
Yes, glasses fit under our goggles. Contacts are allowed but drying wind can make dailies a safer option. Either way, we’ve got you covered.
Dress comfortably but snugly: long sleeves, leggings or fitted pants, and lace-up shoes. Avoid anything loose. We’ll provide goggles and flight suit as needed.

Yes, but your first flight won’t include aerobatics. We reserve loops and rolls for experienced flyers. The standard flight delivers serious adrenaline. We can book you in for your aerobatic flight on the same day after your first WingWalk.
From check-in to debrief, expect about 90 minutes on-site. Your on wing time will be approximately 20-25 minutes of pure sky-high joy.
Yes. You’ll receive a personalised certificate. We also offer HD in-flight videos and photos for an additional fee—great for bragging rights, or fundraising.

The voucher holder has free entry to the museum and can bring as many people as they want. Guests must arrive with you to benefit from a 50% discount. Late arrivals can request an entry code for the same discount.
Dogs on leads are welcome at Sandown. Sadly, Duxford doesn’t allow pets. Please ensure they’re comfy and attended.
Yes—our WingWalking rig is purpose-built, regularly inspected, and meets all UK CAA standards. Our pilots and engineers ensure highest level of safety at every flight.
Public liability is included. If you’d like travel or cancellation coverage, those can be arranged separately with your insurer.
